Spa Day #6, the Final Treatment, is scheduled for Monday the 26th.  I had the choice of having it today but decided not to spoil Thanksgiving this year.  As much as I know how I will feel for at least two weeks after, I am really looking forward to Monday.

Thanksgiving is a simple event tomorrow.  We'll watch the Macy's parade on TV and maybe the Dog Show.  At noon I'll go down the road two houses to the American Legion Hall and bring home turkey dinners for all of us.  I'm going to the bakery today to get pies and rolls and breakfast pastry.

Spa Day #5 on November 2nd; one more to go!

Last Friday was my fifth chemo treatment.  Only one more!  The cumulative effects of the chemo have been catching up to me this week.

I felt okay on Saturday and Sunday Dad and I went for a walk in the woods and hauled out six fir trees for wreath-making.  All that water to drink over the weekend really irritated my kidneys.  Then Monday and Tuesday were kind of not so good days.  I did go over to the shop on Monday to deliver some fabric to Connie and to pick up some things that I needed for card making.  Then I had acupuncture at the Alfond Center.  Yesterday was pretty much a pajama day.  I am feeling a bit better today, not quite so crampy and uncomfortable.  Food still doesn't interest me much.  Kind of eating a lot of cereal and jello.

Need to get out later to get some groceries--definitely need something to cook for dinner later.

The online card class I've been taking has helped to keep me busy.  I've made about forty cards in the last week and tons of tags.  This week I'm way behind already, but I'll catch up when I'm feeling better.

I'm supposed to teach a class on Monday, but I won't know whether or not I'll do that until I get my bloodwork results on Friday.  This coming weekend there's a quilt shop hop and I may or may not do that with Donna and Linda.  Again I'll have to see how I'm feeling and what my test results are.  One thing I'm realizing is that as much as I want to do things as usual I really can't.  Like there's an auction tonight, but I know I can't go as much as I'd like to.

I also have a ton of sewing to do for Christmas, but I think I'm going to be the last minute elf with all of that, too.

Trying to keep my spirits up and stay positive.  In six weeks or so all of this will be over.
