• handwritten words that describe the parts of feathers from BIRD, EGG, FEATHER, NEST by Maryjo Koch
• and quote from Maryjo Koch:  "Not all birds fly, or sing or build nests.  Yet all share one feature:  feathers.  No bird lacks them or can survive without them."
